Eye Cream Packaging: Small Formats and Applicators

In small formats every component is proportionally more visible. A 15ml pack has little surface for design, so the closure, applicator and carton do most of the work.

Eye Cream Packaging formats for beauty brands

Short answer

Eye creams use 10ml–20ml formats: small jars, mini airless pots, roll-ons or tubes with a metal applicator tip. The applicator is a significant part of perceived value at this size, since the container itself is small.

What decides the pack

Four variables account for most of the specification. Get these right and the rest is design.

Common formats

  • 15ml airless jar
  • 15ml glass jar
  • 10ml roll-on
  • 15ml tube with metal tip

Applicator choice

Ceramic or metal tips give a cooling sensation and support a de-puffing claim; a simple spatula keeps cost down.

Fill accuracy

At 15ml, a small overfill is a large percentage. Tight capacity tolerance is specified on the container drawing.

Carton proportion

Small cartons look flimsy in thin board. Going one grammage heavier makes the unit feel considered.

Hygiene

Eye area products benefit from airless or applicator-tip delivery that avoids finger contact.

Eye Cream Packaging FAQ

15ml is the global standard, with 10ml used for premium concentrates and travel sets. Larger sizes are uncommon because usage per application is very small.

It adds perceived value and a genuine cooling effect that supports morning de-puffing routines. Whether the margin supports it depends on your retail price and whether the claim is central to the product story.

It depends on the specification. Stock containers with labelling start low; custom colour, decoration and moulds raise the minimum. For custom paper boxes the standard minimum order quantity is 5,000 pieces per design, and selected paper box projects may start from a few hundred pieces subject to evaluation of the structure, material, printing method and finishing. Send the item and target quantity and we will quote the real minimum for that exact configuration rather than a generic figure.

Yes — standard samples, decoration samples and pre-production samples. Standard samples are usually available quickly; customised samples are quoted with the project because they require set-up.

Yes, through masterbatch resin colour, spray coating on glass or plastic, or printed colour on cartons. Coating gives full Pantone freedom at a lower minimum; masterbatch is more durable but needs a larger volume.
