PET, PP, HDPE, PCR, airless and refillable systems

Plastic Packaging for Modern Beauty Brands

Plastic solves problems glass cannot: parcel shipping without breakage, airless dispensing for oxidation-sensitive actives, squeeze delivery for cleansers, and refill architectures. The engineering decisions that matter are resin choice, wall thickness, closure fit and — increasingly — recycled content and recyclability at end of life.

Plastic Packaging for skincare and beauty brands

Resin selection with a reason

PET for clarity and recycling streams, PP for chemical resistance and warm fill, HDPE for squeeze and durability, PCR where content can be documented.

Dispensing engineering

Airless piston and pouch systems, lockable pumps, dose accuracy and evacuation measured on your actual formula.

Designed for parcels

Lower breakage and around a third of the shipping weight of comparable glass — material to DTC unit economics.

Plastic Packaging questions

Material-specific answers, plus the questions every buyer asks. More detail in the MOQ guide and full FAQ.

PET for clear bottles that need a recycling-friendly story, PP for jars and formulas with essential oils or a wide pH range, HDPE for squeezable cleansers and body care. Airless PP systems are the choice for retinol, vitamin C and preservative-light formulas.

For most bottles and jars, mechanical performance is close enough that consumers notice no difference. Appearance is what changes — a slight grey or yellow cast and, at higher percentages, some haze. Functional pump parts often stay virgin for reliability.

It depends on the specification. Stock containers with labelling start low; custom colour, decoration and moulds raise the minimum. For custom paper boxes the standard minimum order quantity is 5,000 pieces per design, and selected paper box projects may start from a few hundred pieces subject to evaluation of the structure, material, printing method and finishing. Send the item and target quantity and we will quote the real minimum for that exact configuration rather than a generic figure.

Yes — standard samples, decoration samples and pre-production samples. Standard samples are usually available quickly; customised samples are quoted with the project because they require set-up.

Yes, through masterbatch resin colour, spray coating on glass or plastic, or printed colour on cartons. Coating gives full Pantone freedom at a lower minimum; masterbatch is more durable but needs a larger volume.

Yes — silk screen printing, UV printing, hot stamping, embossing and labelling. We will advise which method suits your artwork, substrate and quantity, including minimum legible sizes.
