Quality

Quality control that produces evidence, not assurances

Quality in packaging is mostly about defining what "acceptable" means before production starts. We agree the standard sample, the sampling plan and the defect classification in advance — then inspect against them and report the result.

Inspection stages

Eight checks across a production order

01

Incoming material inspection

Glass batch materials, resin lots and board received against specification with supplier documentation checked and retained.

02

Dimensional inspection

Height, diameter, neck finish, wall thickness and capacity measured against the approved drawing using gauges and calipers.

03

Appearance inspection

Checked for bubbles, stones, cords, flow lines, gate marks, scratches and contamination under standardised lighting.

04

Colour inspection

Compared against the retained approved standard under controlled lighting; production is held if drift exceeds the agreed tolerance.

05

Decoration inspection

Print position, registration, coverage and adhesion verified by tape and rub tests, plus alcohol resistance where relevant.

06

Leakage and function testing

Applied where the pack dispenses: pump priming and output, dropper suction, closure torque, inversion and vacuum leak checks.

07

Sampling inspection

Statistical sampling plan agreed with the customer before production, with defect classification defined in advance.

08

Final inspection

Pre-shipment check on packed goods covering quantity, carton marking, palletisation and documentation before release.

What we do not do

We do not list certification names we cannot evidence, and we do not describe testing we are not equipped to perform. Where a project needs third-party laboratory testing — migration studies, compatibility validation to a specific standard, or regulatory documentation — we say so and help arrange it with an accredited laboratory.

Agreed before production

Standard sample
Physical reference approved by you and retained by us for the life of the programme.
Sampling plan
Inspection level and acceptance criteria agreed in writing before the run.
Defect classification
Critical, major and minor defects defined for your product specifically.
Reporting
Pre-shipment report with measured results issued before release.

Quality FAQ

Yes. A pre-shipment inspection report covering the agreed sampling plan, measured attributes and any deviations is issued before goods are released. If a batch fails against the agreed criteria, we tell you before it ships, not after.

Against a physical standard sample approved by you at the start of the programme, viewed under controlled lighting. Production is held if drift exceeds the tolerance agreed with that standard.

Yes, for glass and plastic. The programme covers feasibility review, tooling, trial samples and a dimensional report. Ownership and storage terms are agreed in writing before tooling starts.

Yes — pumps, droppers, sprayers, caps, collars, liners, spatulas and applicators, specified and compatibility-tested with the container rather than sold as separate items.

Yes. Mixed orders across glass, plastic and paper are normal for us and are consolidated into one shipment with one document set.

Yes. We ship worldwide by sea, air and courier, on EXW, FOB, CIF or DDP terms where available. Export documentation is prepared with the shipment.
