Packaging solution
Essential oils are the most aggressive category in cosmetics for component compatibility. Terpenes attack standard liners, dissolve some inks and can craze certain plastics, so material choice is not a preference — it is a functional requirement.

Short answer
Essential oils are packed in 5ml–30ml amber or violet glass bottles with an orifice reducer and a tamper-evident or child-resistant cap. Liner material must resist the oil — PTFE and EPE cone liners are the usual choices.
Four variables account for most of the specification. Get these right and the rest is design.
Common formats
PTFE-faced or EPE cone liners hold a seal where a standard PE liner degrades and weeps.
Orifice reducers between 0.6mm and 2.0mm control drop size for different viscosities.
Several markets require child-resistant caps for specific oils. Confirm the destination market on the RFQ.
Amber and violet glass both slow photodegradation; violet is more distinctive but costs more and has fewer stock formats.

In several markets, yes, depending on the oil and concentration. Tell us the destination countries and we will specify a compliant closure rather than assume a standard cap is acceptable.
Terpene fractions can swell or craze PET and soften some liners, which causes leaks and cloudiness. Glass with a suitable liner is the reliable option; PP is acceptable for some diluted blends.
It depends on the specification. Stock containers with labelling start low; custom colour, decoration and moulds raise the minimum. For custom paper boxes the standard minimum order quantity is 5,000 pieces per design, and selected paper box projects may start from a few hundred pieces subject to evaluation of the structure, material, printing method and finishing. Send the item and target quantity and we will quote the real minimum for that exact configuration rather than a generic figure.
Yes — standard samples, decoration samples and pre-production samples. Standard samples are usually available quickly; customised samples are quoted with the project because they require set-up.
Yes, through masterbatch resin colour, spray coating on glass or plastic, or printed colour on cartons. Coating gives full Pantone freedom at a lower minimum; masterbatch is more durable but needs a larger volume.
