Silk Screen Printing
Ink is pushed through a mesh screen onto the container and cured. Each colour needs its own screen and pass, so cost scales with colour count rather than coverage area.

Why brands use it
- High opacity — light ink on dark glass stays crisp
- Excellent durability once properly cured
- No label edge, giving a cleaner premium appearance
Process
- 01Screen preparationOne screen per colour, exposed from the artwork film.
- 02Pre-treatmentFlame or corona treatment for PP and HDPE to promote adhesion.
- 03PrintingColours printed in sequence with curing between passes.
- 04TestingTape adhesion, rub and alcohol resistance verified on production units.

MOQ considerations
Screen set-up is charged per colour, so a one-colour logo is viable at low volume while a four-colour wrap needs more units to be economical.

Silk Screen Printing FAQ
Screen printing looks more premium and cannot peel, but each colour adds cost and artwork changes mean new screens. Labels are cheaper for complex multi-colour graphics, allow late artwork changes and handle variable data — a practical choice for multi-SKU launches.
