Custom Colour Matching
Colour is achieved three ways: masterbatch pigment in the resin, spray coating on glass or plastic, or printed colour on a carton. Each behaves differently and each is approved on a physical sample, never on screen.

Why brands use it
- Consistent brand colour across bottle, cap and carton
- Differentiation on a crowded shelf
- Colour coding across a product range
Process
- 01ReferencePantone code, physical chip or an existing sample provided.
- 02Lab matchColour laboratory produces candidate matches on the actual substrate.
- 03Chip approvalPhysical chips sent for approval under agreed lighting conditions.
- 04Production controlApproved chip retained as the standard; production checked against it.

Typical applications
- Full-body colour
- Cap and collar matching
- Two-tone effects
- Range colour coding
MOQ considerations
Masterbatch colour requires enough volume to justify a resin changeover, so it carries a higher minimum than spray coating. Coating can be done at lower quantities, which is why most emerging brands start there.
Lead time
Colour chips 7–10 days; production follows normal component lead times.

Custom Colour Matching FAQ
Not exactly. Different substrates absorb and reflect light differently, and an uncoated carton always reads duller than coated plastic. We approve a set of physical samples together so the family is visually coherent rather than numerically identical.
A small tolerance band is unavoidable. We agree an acceptable range against the approved chip before production and inspect against it — that is more honest than promising a zero-variation match.
Yes — standard samples, decoration samples and pre-production samples. Standard samples are usually available quickly; customised samples are quoted with the project because they require set-up.
Yes, through masterbatch resin colour, spray coating on glass or plastic, or printed colour on cartons. Coating gives full Pantone freedom at a lower minimum; masterbatch is more durable but needs a larger volume.
Yes — silk screen printing, UV printing, hot stamping, embossing and labelling. We will advise which method suits your artwork, substrate and quantity, including minimum legible sizes.
